Condition

Overall in good condition, with usual rubbing to the gilding and some wear to the enamels from use. A few items with some hairline cracks usual for this type of material. The teapot with a triangular loss (ca. 1 cm. high) to the tip of the spout issuing a small hailine crack; a small crack (ca. 2,5 cm) to the flaring upper border; the cover with a small hairline crack issuing from the pierced opening. The milk jug with a small hairline crack (ca. 1 cm.) to the inside of the upper rim. The sugar bowl with a restuck handle and a small crack (ca. 1.5 cm.) to the flaring upper rim. One cup with a small border crack and three hairline cracks to the handle; two with a very small border crack. The cake stand broken off the high pedestal, the top of the foot with various restuck fragments or cracks with discoloured overpainting. The five two-handled rectangular dishes with some more wear, comprising two with rectangular cartouche: one with a crack along the center, one with two small hairline cracks to one handle; four with oval cartouche: two with chips to the foot rim, one with a restuck handle. Three two-handled circular dishes with some more wear, of which one with a border crack and some hairline cracks to the center. One deep plate with a rim chip, one with two border hairline cracks. Of the twelve plates one with a border crack running to the center and one with a T-shaped crack to the border. Of the thirty-five small plates (one actually a footed plate): two plates with a chip to the reverse of the rim.
