Description
painted with flower bouquets within elaborately gilt and 'jewelled' blue-ground borders, comprising: a coffee pot and cover, 20 cm. high; a cream jug; a sugar pot and cover; a slop bowl; three square dishes; two ogival-shaped dishes; ten cups and twelve saucers; iron-red painted and stencilled mark: Médaille d'Or, Exp. 1844, F.R. Breveté, Fournisseur du Roi; wear and some damage (33)

Condition
Overall with usual wear to the gilding. Some more wear to the gilding of the entwined handles of the coffee pot and milk jug. The majority of the 'jewelled' relief enamelled dots lacking. The coffee pot with a chip to the extremity of the spout. The sugar bowl with a star-crack to the base, the cover with a hairline crack. One cup with a border crack and to the inside a matt layer to the blue border (probably a calceous deposit from water). Two saucers with a rim chip, one saucer with two chips to the foot rim.
