Description

  • 280cm. high, 576cm. wide, 2cm. deep
with Chinoiserie scenes, depicting to the front, courtly figures going about their daily activities, with palatial ceremonial activities in the background, and mythical beasts and flower frieze inv. no. AWE 659 (2)

Condition

Overall in fair and original condition. All panels with craquele and some cracks. Loose flakes and losses, especially to the upper left corner of the back side. Overall slightly dirty and with stains. Most anels warped. Hinges replaced and losses to the laqcuer at the hinges. Attractive piece in need of restoration.
