- 20 cm. high without statue
the domed architectural case topped by a statuette of a soldier bearing an armorial shield monogrammed O.E.S. and dated 1638, overall engraved with grotesque decoration and foliage, the front with hour dial, the reverse with non operational subsidairy for the striking hours, the altered steel posted movement now with cylinder escapement and countwheel striking on a bell mounted above, alterations; inv. no. PLV 303

Fair condition, stained, gilding with some rubbing and/or oxidation, original mechanism replaced, i.e. spring barrels, all wheels and various levers later, right side fret missing, soldier finial loose, movement with later mechanism in working condition, usual ageing.
