painted in manganese, the tureen with flowers, 35 cm. wide, some cracks; the cover with chinese figures, loss to one leaf of finial (2)

Condition

Overall the rims with small glaze chips, usual for tinglazed ceramics. The tureen (with flowers) with some hairline cracks to the borders and base and one circular branched hairline crack running accross the lower body. The upper rim with a chip (ca. 0.5 cm. wide) and two abraded narrow sections (ca. 2.5 and 4.5 cm. wide). Three small chips to the foot rim. The cover (with chinese figures) with one leaf of the finial with two scrolls lacking and another with one scroll lacking.
