  • 65 cm. diam.
after a model by Francois Briot, cast in relief with a portrait medallion of King Francois I of France in the centre, surrounded by trophies, mythological figures and further grotesques, one charger with foundry seal Grifl Factorei Ilsenburg; the other with incised number 927; together with a Renaissance style silvered metal tray cast in relief with a mythological scene; inv. no. 4-3267 (3)

Chargers in rather good condition, stained, partly oxidated and with some wear; the tray with silvering worn and with two holes.
