Description

the design attributed to A.D. Copier, the glasses of drawn trumpet shape, the heavy stems enclosing air drops, comprising: a decanter and stopper, 36 cm. high; three decanters and seven stoppers, 33 cm. high; twenty-nine coupes on high stem, 17.7 cm. high; twenty-nine flutes, 20 cm. high; ten glasses, 17.5-17.8 cm.; nine glasses, 14.7-15.1 cm. high; fourty-four glasses, 10.9 cm. high; eighteen liqueur glasses, 9.9 cm. high; nine beakers, 14-14.5 cm. high; eleven rinsers; thirty-one stands or side dishes; overall minor chips (202)

Condition

The service has been in use and therefore various glasses have polished rims (listed below if notable) and the bases have some usual scratches. Overall this extensive service is in good usable condition. -One smaller decanter with a small loss (ca. 1 cm. wide) to the upper rim. -Circa five stoppers with chips to the lower part. -One coupe with reduced upper rim and two small chips. -One flute with polished upper rim and chips, two with reduced upper rim, one with reduced foot rim, and one with a chip to the foot rim. -Of the 10 glasses: eight with reduced upper rim (three also with chips, two also with polished foot), one with reduced foot, one with a chip to the upper rim. -Of the 9 glasses: seven with reduced upper rim (one also with polished foot and one with a chip to the upper rim) -Of the 44 glasses: three with chips to the upper rim, one with a reduced upper rim and a small chip, one with a chip to the foot rim, one with a polished loss to the foot rim. -Three liqueur glasses with reduced upper and/or foot rim. -Four beakers with chips to the upper rim, one with reduced upper rim. -Two rinsers with reduced rim, four with rim chips. -Of the 31 dishes (various sizes) circa five with rim chips.
