comprising: a coffeepot and cover, 22 cm. high; two milk jugs in sizes; a pierced oval basket painted with views of 'Apollo temple', 'by Munchen', and 'by Grunwald'; a sugar bowl and cover; fifteen cups and seventeen saucers; green shield mark, various painted and impressed numerals; overall some damages (39)

Condition
Overall minor usual rubbing to the gilding.
The coffeepot with the handle broken off and reattached with (old) overpainted metal repairs. The cover with restuck finial (metal pin to the inside).
The sugar bowl broken in half and restuck with two rivets, a small related hairline crack.
Two cups cracked and one cup with a restuck fragment.

Modelled after the Perlservice designed in circa 1792-95 by Dominikus Auliczek. Known as the 'Bayerisches Königsservice' since 1918 when a service with 792 sepia views was produced for the golden wedding anniversary of König Ludwig III. (1845-1921) and Marie Therese Erzherzogin von Österreich (1849-1919).
