Condition

The actual painting is less yellow than the catalogue illustration suggests. The panel seems to consist of one plank and seems to have split through the centre. There is a tendency towards flaking along the split. Otherwise no major damages are apparent. There are two very tiny paint losses to the upper right. The paint layer is generally sound. Inspection under UV light reveals retouchings along the split, small scattered ones in the background and a few minor ones in the figures. The paint surface is under dirty and dull varnish. Offered in a plain wood frame in good condition.
