painted in the Watteau-style, comprising: an oval tray, 35.8 cm. wide; a small chocolate pot and cover; a hot milk pot and cover; a sugar bowl and cover, two covered cups and saucers, a spoon; blue crossed swords marks with incision, blue AR marks for Helena Wolfsohn Dresden and blue crossed forks marks for Volkstedt; inv. no. 4-1045; some damages (13)

Condition

Minor usual rubbing to the gilding. The cover of the coffee pot with two broken fragments with riveted repair and discoloured overpainting, a related rim chip. The milk jug with a chip to the extremity of the spout. The cover of one cup with a loss to a leaf of the flower branch finial. The stem of the spoon broken with an old metal repair with discoloured overpainting.
