- An Urartian Silver Pin
- Gold, silver, and electrum
- Lengths 4 3/8 and 2 1/4 in. 11.1 and 5.7 cm.
with silver shaft and hollow gold finial in the form of three eagles facing out, the feathers engraved; together with a gold or electrum pin, origin not certain, with terminal in the form of the head of a feline(?), granulated decoration below, the terminal probably modern.

Condition
The first pin is as shown---note considerable damage to the area under the ovolo band, some of which is also damaged on the side not shown. The second pin is as shown and described; seems to be something of a pastiche; difficult to determine if the pinhead is ancient modern, and there are dents, repair and restoration below it.
