of early Spedos type, lying with her arms folded beneath the shallow breasts, with rounded thighs, sloping shoulders, and large head with straight triangular nose, the broad spine and other details grooved.

acquired by the current owner's father from Zoumboulakis, Athens, 1950s/1960s

Condition

As shown, back heavily encrusted, minute flaw in stone above proper right eye area, surface somewhat weathered overall, fresh scratches below proper right hip area probably due to contact with former mount.
