- Heights 4 and 2 1/2 in. 10.16 and 6.35 cm.
the young satyr, probably a fulcrum applique, with his head turned sharply to his left and up, and wearing a goat skin knotted on the right shoulder, his face with parted lips and swept-up hair surmounted by a knobbed pointed petasos engraved on top with radiating criss-crossing lines and wavy dotted border, Nike kneeling with wings extended and holding serpents in boths hands, and wearing a peplos draped in archaistic style.

Condition
The satyr is in very good condition; small chip and crack at the top of the brim of the petasos. The Nike is very worn, eroded in some areas, especially the face and breast; the serpent in her left hand is mostly missing; the thin patina has been enhanced in some areas with black paint.
