  • Height 8 1/2 in. 21.6 cm.
turned to his right, his face with gentle smiling expression, parted lips, and wide-set almond-shaped eyes, his centrally parted hair bound in a wreath of wheat stalks and acorns(?), clusters of grapes or berries falling before the ears, the neck carved for insertion into a statue.

Condition

As shown. Surface is somewhat worn, the nose and lips are chipped. Lesser chips elsewhere. The back of the head is much more roughly carved and generally in good condition. There are relatively recent abrasions and a recent chip on the hair on top of the head.
