  • both signed in Latin l.l., one dated 1902 l.l., the other 28.IX.1949 l.l., inscribed Palazzo Quirinale l.r. and stamped with inventory stamp on reverse
  • watercolour over pencil on paper, one with ink
  • 25 by 46cm, 9 3/4 by 18in.; 21.5 by 31cm, 8 1/2 by 12 1/4 in.

Condition

1902 view: the sheet is laid down on card which is undulated; the card shows evidence of water damage on the upper edge. The sheet is undulated, slightly discoloured and has a layer of light surface dirt. Unframed. 1949 view: the sheet is held down lightly on card in three corners. The sheet has discoloured. There are pinholes to the upper corners and a small tear to the top left edge. Unframed.
