Canvas is not lined (a patch on the reverse corresponds to upper center on the recto--for a small tear in the shape of a backward "C"--just touches the top of the white chrysanthemum at upper left and then goes up into the background). SURFACE: in generally good condition; the old repair mentioned above shows to the naked eye, as does a small repaired loss/tear at upper left in background; stretcher marks; dirty varnish--could use a cleaning UNDER UV: strokes of inpaint to cover the tears mentioned above; a couple of dots of inpaint at upper right
