SURFACE: in good condition UNDER ULTRA VIOLET: scattered inpainting throughout (perhaps amounts to about 20% of surface overall), most of it on right half of painting--left half: a few scattered spots, mostly at upper left; right half: signature is clean, but there are a few large spots above it -- between right edge and tree bark pf standing tree, a couple of large spots at (almost) dead center, probably for a loss (texture to a spot here, about 1/4 in. diam., feels rough/irregular)
