Canvas is lined. SURFACE: while surface has been compressed from relining, there is good pigment retention overall and details, colors look quite vivid UNDER ULTRA VIOLET: inpainting all along the edges, particularly the left and upper edges; scattered spots in background; scattered dots in faces and chests of mother and daughter and strengthening to daughter's neck
