Very good condition overall for an object of this type and age. Wooden pegs inserted in mouth, all complete; wooden pegs inserted in geometric patterns along forehead, eyebrows, bridge of nose, and on cheeks partially covered by crust of kaolin and causing the crust to crack. Nicks and scratches. Wear and tear throughout. Fine aged varied brown patina with traces of red pigment and kaolin.
