the inset marble top above a frieze with ribbon-tied floral garlands and fitted with one long frieze drawer, on tapering fluted and reeded supports.

Condition

Following a recent conversation with Christopher Payne, this lot is most probably made by Francois Linke. Overall in good and fair condition, with light scratches to marble top and the usual tarnishing to gilt bronze. The carcass with the minor nicks, dents and bruises consistent with age and use.
