Condition
Overall very good original condition. the mahogany case of the sideboard with scratches, chips, nicks, abrasions, losses to finish and some dryness as seen in the catalogue illustration. With a loss to top edge of the wooden case to the center measuring 2 inches in length, which is visible in the catalogue illustration. The slightly translucent glass doors in excellent condition with a very subtle blue/gray hue. With a few shallow surface scratches. Some of the ball bearings in the recessed track which help the movement of the doors appear to be missing. With areas of discoloration and surface dirt in the metal track which contains the ball bearings. The interior with one shelf. The marble top with light surface scratches and remains in very good condition. A very rare opportunity to acquire a piece from the residence of René Herbst, which has never previously been on the market.
