Overall very good condition. The screen is a modular system comprised of six separate elements, which can be fitted into each other. The screen with small scattered losses to the veneer at the edges, surface scratches and edge nicks from use. One side of the screen appears to have had more sun exposure, and shows some light evidence of sunfading to the surface. The screen with evidence of minor scattered areas of infill restoring losses to veneer chips. These are concentrated primarily to the edges. One panel showing an area of restoration, which appears to be a stabilization of the portion of veneer measuring 5 inches in length. There is an adjacent minor loss to the same panel measuring one inch in length. This piece remains in very good overall condition. A subtle design epitomizing the sophisticated and austere aesthetic of Kjærholm’s work.
