Condition

Overall good original condition. This collage arranged by René Herbst comprises both photographs and architectural renderings by Jean Prouvé. Frame possibly later. The surface of the board with some minor edge losses, possibly from an earlier installation prior to the present framing. With an area of abrasions to the central portion of the collage from a series of scratches and impacts. The photograph used at the lower proper left side extends slightly beyond the board and is presently resting on the frame, which appears inherent and with some minute edge losses. Frame with minor surface scratches and white paint residue. A stunning work in person with prior exhibition history. A truly unique opportunity to acquire a piece designed by one iconic 20th Century designer, using materials rendered by another noted designer of the time.
