Condition
Overall very good original condition. The top surface with some minor surface scratches. With three areas of infill which appear to have been sensitively restored at some point in the piece’s history. With one edge loss to the upper edge at one corner measuring one inch in length. This chip shows the white undercoat and there is a small radiating crack extending four inches toward the center of the table. There is slight lifting to the adjacent surface. The brass liner an area of impact to one edge, which has sent the top edge of inset out of shape. The edge is slightly lifted (approximately ¼ inch) and indented in this specific area. This table with wonderful size, and the inset brass elements adds a depth to the overall appearance, creating a superb small recessed area to display works in one’s collection.
