Condition
Overall in very good original condition. The chromium-plated frames of the chairs with some discoloration and dullness to the finish throughout. With some light scratches and few minor dents to the metal frame portion. The upholstery in excellent condition showing very gentle wear including light surface scratches which do not break the surface of the leather and crazing. Please note the upholstery is significantly more green in person, displaying a rich hunter green hue. Please contact the department for additional photographs of these chairs in the exhibition.

Only six chairs from the Grill Room of the Normandie are presently known to exist. Two of the chairs, in the collection of Mario Pulice, were recently exhibited at the South Street Seaport Museum, New York.
