Condition
Overall in very good condition. The frame of the table showing minor discoloration, as seen in the catalogue illustration, which appears consistent with age and use. The marble inlaid panels are not original, but are in a style consistent with original design. The marble is well fitted to the frame, and presents with a nice color variation in the veining. One of the marble panels in the base of the table with a crack extending the width of panel, but does not extend the depth of the panel. Another panel with a loss at the corner measuring 1 1/2 inches in length. Sotheby’s would recommend light professional restoration of this panel.
