Condition
Overall in very good condition. Both this vase, and the previous lot, have recently undergone sensitive restoration by a leading metalwork restorer to remove an old coat of wax from the exterior and apply a new wax to the vase. This restoration was undertaken without impact to the decoration. As seen in the catalogue illustration, the decoration is in great condition showing some very light wear and beautiful patination to the surface consistent with age and use. With some minor discoloration to the interior.
This vase and lot 74 are incredibly rare as the successive numbering to the underside indicates that the vases were consecutively produced.
