Condition
Overall excellent condition. When viewed under blacklight there are no apparent areas of prior restoration. The gilt coloration to the interior is vivid and with deep saturation. The decorative elements that adorn the circumference of the bowl are articulated with clarity and with great detail. Very minor inconsistencies to the rim, which are inherent in the execution of the piece, and only visible upon very close inspection. The exterior of the bowl with a beautiful iridescence and craquelure glaze, which is only alluded to the catalogue illustration and presents much more vividly in person. A very good example displaying the best elements of Mayodon's work.
