Condition
Overall in very good condition. The painted wood seat portion of the chair shows minor losses to paint, scratches, edge nicks and minor discoloration. Losses to paint concentrated to specific abrasion to the top surface of the seat, and the edges show scattered losses to paint throughout. Lacking seven of the original screws which fasten the seat to the frame. Four of the seven screws are located on the end of the seat rest and the top of the backrest and therefore the wood panel is presently slightly from the frame at these ends. One additional screws lacking washer and one additional with a replaced washer, not in the same form as the original, but appears to been changed long ago. The chromium-plated metal frame with losses to significant losses to chroming throughout. With isolated areas of oxidation and discoloration to the frame throughout. The frame remains stable.
