Condition

Overall in very good condition. The corrugated cardboard surface of this example is slightly delicate, which is consistent with gentle use and the natural aging process of the material. The cardboard surfaces throughout show minor tears, losses and compression from use. The base of the chair with more concentrated tears and losses to the edges, and some areas of compression to the surfaces. The final loop of cardboard at the foot with visible glue extending the width the chair. This is possibly an area of restoration. The cushion of the chair is not permanently attached to the frame, which is part of the design concept. Overall the chair shows signs gentle use, and as a result requires care when handling. With wonderful scale and presence in person.
