Condition

The work is sound and stable. The board upon which the relief is attached has some minor craquelure along the right edge and in one or two other places across the paint surface. There are also one or two spots of staining. The relief itself has a few minor chips to the edges and a few small holes in isolated areas, all of which appear original and inherent to the medium. There are a few minor spots of staining in the upper left corner and some very light scratches across the surface; otherwise the work appears in good overall condition. Ultraviolet violet light reveals no apparent signs of retouching. Contained in original simple wooden frame.
