Condition
Original canvas.
There is a small spot of paint loss along the centre of the upper edge. The edges of the canvas are worn in places. There is some paint separation to the black rectangle on the left. There are one or two tiny lines of craquelure including a tiny horizontal line in the white pigment, which is only visible upon close inspection. The surface is slightly dirty with isolated specks of staining.
Ultraviolet light reveals pigments which fluoresce which are apparently the hand of the artist.
Held in a white painted wood box frame.
