Condition

The sheet is sound and does not appear to be laid down but adhered to the backboard about the edges. It undulates slightly. There is a very minor tear to the lower left edge, approximately 3mm in length, and a small artist's pin hole in the lower left corner. There are two or three small spots of foxing in the bucket in the centre foreground, otherwise the work appears in good overall condition. Held in a brass frame with a canvas inset under glass; unexamined out of frame. Please telephone the department on 0207 293 6424 if you have any questions about the present work.
