Condition

Pile generally good, closely shorn, approximately 1/10th of an inch throughout. Some very minor scattered visible warp ties, some nail marks along sides. Lower end with original flat woven finish with an approximately 4in. rewoven area. Upper end with losses to barber pole stitching. Some remnants of original knotted warp fringes. Corners slightly curving under. Sides with original bicolor selvages. Very supple handle, good overall condition, lustrous wool.
