Condition

Pile generally good, near original, 1/10th of an inch overall. Highly lustrous wool. A 2x2.5 inch reweave lower right edge of field. Minor scattered foldwear and moth tracks showing foundation, not extensive. A 1x.5 inch reweave upper left corner. Sides later overcast. Upper end with original ivory and dark blue flatweave folded under and sewn. Lower end partially secured with a blanket stitch. Very supple handle, glossy wool, good overallcondition. Colors: chestnut, madder red, dark blue, ivory, natural brown, dark blue green.
