Condition

Generally near original dense 1/8th of an inch pile throughout with minor moth tracks. Right arm reattached, vertical slit at the left arm joint. Original selvages and flatwoven end finishes folded under and sewn. Original polychrome wool long wrapped tassles with some losses. Contemporary applied silk embroidered band below central panel. Very small losses at the joints with very visible amatuer sewing to slits. Supple handle, sound fabric, good overall condition. Colors: madder red, brick red, purple brown, dark blue, blue green, ivory and walnut, natural brown.
