Condition
Comprised of two fragments of the same carpet sewn together. Pile low to knotheads and foundation particularly visible in oxidized brown areas. A 2x.5" reweave with an attendant 1" diagonal slit. Stitching on seam quite visible. A few small slits and holes in upper smaller fragment piece which is also more worn generally than the lower larger piece. Later applied selvages on all 4 sides. Supple handle, good color, sound fabric and condition. Scattered repiling. A 3" vertical repaired slit in border below joint and a 3" vertical repaired foldwear slit in lower border.
