Condition
Overall in good condition, with the usual tarnishing to gilt bronze. Some lifting to brass inlay. Few losses to brass and pewter inlay.

Catalogue Note
The firm of Grohé was established in Paris circa 1927 by Guillaume and his brother Jean-Michel. They exhibited at major exhibitions throughout the 19th century, supplying furniture to the French Royals, as well as to Queen Victoria. The company ceased trading in 1884.
