Overall in good condition and presentation. The construction and mounting of all bronze elements is mechanically well done, with hand cut square bolts, all showing a good quality of manufacture. The gilding is original, wings and mane of the lions have been chased. There are some visible oxidization points and tarnishing to the gilt bronze elements, mostly to the wings. Two rectangular amethyst inlays are detached and available in a bag, and one inlay is missing.
