the lid decorated with turquoise enameled foliate and six coats of arms, the front with a nobleman on horseback and a foliate coat of arms to the back. 

Condition

Overall in very good condition and presentation. The enamels have retained their original color. The lower edge of the circular foot with a very minute chip. Some wear to the gilt highlights. The bud finial surmounting the cover has been replaced. One can see a more opaque gilding, the measurement of this replacement is approximately a 1/4 of an inch.
