the swiveling beveled mirror set within a foliate and floral cast frame, surmounted by a plumed crest and flanked by a pair of marble shelves fitted with three light candle arms, the thick molded serpentine marble top above three frieze drawers and a pair of cabinets fitted with one shelf, the mirror crest the mark MB to its reverse, one lock has been removed to reveal the mark of the locksmith DUVIVIER. Bearing the signature F. Linke to the molding beneath the proper left-hand side frieze drawer.
Condition
Overall in good condition and impressive in quality. All in keeping with Millet's standard of manufacture. There are two losses of veneer to the left-hand side back edge of the cabinet. The marble top is unbroken and has the usual minor scratches consistent with age and use.
