Condition

Original canvas. There are no signs of retouching visible under ultraviolet light. There is fine craquelure and a horizontal stretcher mark. There are four scratches near the upper edge with associated paint flaking, and a few tiny pinhole sized spots of paint flaking in her right forearm. The varnish has yellowed over time. Held in a decorative gold-painted frame.
