Condition
The canvas has been laid on panel. There is retouching visible under ultraviolet light along two horizontal repaired tears, one 15cm in the buildings above the centre, another 15cm through the figures in the lower left, with strokes elsewhere, notably in the shadow of the right hand building, in the upper right quarter and a few strokes in the left hand building. Held in a decorative gold painted frame with a liner.
