Condition
Original canvas. Apart from strokes of retouching, notably in the shore, trees, and building, hairline craquelure, notably in the sky (visible in the catalogue illustration), a rectangular stretcher mark (just visible in the catalogue illustration), and surface dirt, this work is in overall fair condition. Held in an elaborate mock ebony frame with a gold-painted inner accent.
