Condition

Original canvas. Apart from some minor scattered spots of retouching, and notably retouching visible to the naked eye to a puncture in the upper-right quarter (patched on the reverse), and some faint hairline craquelure, notably in the tree trunk (but visible only under close inspection), this work is in good overall condition. Held in a decorative gilt frame.
