Condition
Original canvas. Apart from a few very minor scattered spots of retouching, and some strokes of old retouching at the extreme left edge addressing frame rubbing, hairline craquelure, notably in the sky (visible in the catalogue illustration), and a faint stretcher mark at the edges and vertically in the centre, this work is in good original condition. Held in a decorative coved gold-painted wood and plaster frame.
