Condition
The canvas has been relined. There are strokes of retouching visible under ultraviolet light, notably in the blue pigment to the right of the vase, in the centre; and a spot in the white, below the vase, in the centre. There are areas of paint shrinkage overall (visible in the catalogue illustration). Held in a decorative antique-gold-painted wood and plaster frame.
