Condition

The panel is in good condition, flat and even. There are a few scattered strokes of retouching visible under ultraviolet light, including to two old 2 and 3cm scuffs, the left leg of the chair, a 2 by 2cm area in the dark pigments of the cabinet, and pleats at the bottom of her dress (though not to the rest of the figure). The overall condition of the work is good and it is ready to hang. Held in a decorative gold painted frame.
