Condition
The canvas has been relined. Apart from scattered spots of retouching visible under ultraviolet light, including in the left hand curtain, beneath the dress of the girl at the piano, and to the faces of the singing girl and the man playing the cello, this work is in overall good condition, clean, and ready to hang. Held in a elaborate gold-painted frame.
