Condition
Original canvas. Apart from some spots of retouching visible under ultraviolet light, notably scattered in the left half of the sky and a 1 by 1cm spot over a repaired puncture in the land in the lower right (patched on the reverse), and faint hairline craquelure, this work is in good condition, with colours that are more vibrant than in the catalogue illustration.
